Things that are part of the Higher Education experience that are note easily duplicated include;
- fraternity/sorority
- collegiality
- locality
- prestige
- status signalling
- exceptional learning and teaching
I’m sure there are many more, but if your university isn’t differentiating itself along these lines then the experience of being there may not be enough to attract and retain students.
